In the US, 70% of people are worried about climate change but only 8% are activated. We're clear about this, right? The people banning books and accurate teaching about history and racism are not naive, not "overprotective" of kids' tender sensibilities about violence, language, etc. Assuring them that "kids can handle it" is beside the point. They know that. 1/2
