    USA is NOT a Democracy it’s a REPUBLIC ….

    • Yes, but a republic is just one degree removed from a democracy. We’re still supposed to give each person an equal amount of representation in politics, only via elected leaders instead of directly. As this series has shown, however, we don’t really even do that.

You guys are cracking me up (3 retakes) but we would love to have you out in San Diego!

  4. Woah, Thank you sincerely and humbly for introducing me to my nation. I thought I was taught, I was one of those few that had to take Civics in High School… I have a master’s degree, taught in education for 32 years and consider myself old but woke. I marched on Washington, I was teargassed in the ’70s. Man, I knew nothing. Nothing. Just the edited version. It makes me so sad. I have recommended this and your other podcasts to all my friends. There are going to be some really good discussions in the next few months. But I have to say, I am working on a plan “B”. I can’t take 4 more years of corruption. I will leave. My soul cannot fight this, I need some semblance of peace. My daughter lives in Berlin…I might just head over there.
